The continued hot temperature has not been a happy one for Dhakaite residents for the past few days. In the midst of an exhausting summer, nothing but a deep musical weekend could bring serenity to the hearts of music-loving metropolitans.
The Hybrid Experience was one of those concerts that celebrated the desire for rock music among thousands of spectators. The anticipated rock concert took place at the International Convention City Bashundhara’s Noboratri Hall on Friday.
Announcements have already been made that eight renowned bands will perform in front of large audiences. So, as soon as the doors opened at 2 p.m., the public began to turn up in large numbers.
The concert was mixed fun involving legendary bands like ABC (Artcell, Black, Cryptic Fate) and 21st century phenomena Arbovirus, Nemesis, Avoid Rafa, Mechanix and Dreek.
Dreek started the evening, which was then followed by Mechanix and Black. The fast lineup transition and Rakat Zami’s excellent sound engineering kept the audience intact in Hall 4 throughout the show.
Hyper experience exclaimed the public with regular surprises. This maintained the bond between the groups aptly. From Black covering Arbovirus’ Obhishap to Black’s latest cover Amra had been a nostalgic and fascinating ride for viewers.
As the evening got older, the crowd grew denser and the voices louder. Choiring with Hariye Jao or emotionally melting with School shaped the concert as it was meant to be, a hybrid experience.
Later, AvoidRafa took the stage. If you had been there during his performance, you know it was less Rafa’s voice than the audience going crazy singing “Anmone 2” and “Ami Akash Pathabo”.
If Rafa’s melody and soft rock music blossomed your inner serenity, then it was cryptic fate following him on the heart line for your inner beast with performances like Bhoboghurey, Cholo Bangladesh and Akromon.
If you’re a regular concern, you know which band the crowd literally goes crazy for, cheering names and verses before they even appear on stage; it is Nemesis.
The band appeared, sang, and about a few thousand spectators found themselves jumping, screaming, and banging their heads on the very spark of the moment.
Zohad couldn’t have been more energetic as he explored around the stage, jumping and melting with tunes. The group performed hit tracks like Janala, Obocheton, Gonojowar and signature song Kobe.
However, the surprises were not yet delivered. As soon as the crowd took a break to relax their bones after Nemesis’ performance, something equally original appeared on the stage. Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan also joined the cast, sharing his experience on the show before singing a verse of “Amra Korbo Joy” with fans.
You will find enthusiastic people who know every song played in these mega concerts. Some know a little less. But there’s this song that everyone sings and apparently embarks on.
Artcell, the latest headliner, knows how to make everyone in the auditorium sing. And no wonder they did accordingly.
They performed Rahur Grash, Dukkho Bilash, Oniket Prantor and Chile Kothar Shepai. You might not want to miss a thousand spectators crying and singing for nearly ten minutes at Oniket Prantor.
If you had looked around under the blue and radish lights, you could see how a single track keeps different people on the same page with the same emotion for so long.
Daraz BD was the title sponsor of the hybrid experience. The event was powered by Maverick by Apex Shoes and co-sponsored by Real Man Body Spray.
An event like Hybrid Experience becomes a success even if it can unleash our daily traumas and fatigue for a minimum of time. Hybrid Experience has remarkably contributed to the busy life of Dhakaite music lovers.
