Classic rock, comedy and Elvis shows return to MS Coast casinos

It’s been 2.5 years since COVID-19 emptied the entertainment calendar almost overnight at Coast Casinos, and finally those makeup gigs are back on the schedule with new events.

The bands are on tour again and the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, IP Casino Biloxi and Hard Rock Biloxi lineup is performing almost every weekend through the fall.

It hasn’t taken that long for the Coast Coliseum to start hosting concerts again and executive director Matt McDonnell said last year was his best yet.

This year’s playlist is already a great lineup, even before the announcement this week of a concert on December 3 with Trace Adkins, Clay Walker and Drake White. The show will commemorate 100 years of the Farm Bureau. Tickets go on sale July 28.

“By hosting this concert, we hope to show our appreciation to our 180,000 member families and bring attention to all the hard work that farmers and ranchers in Mississippi have been doing every day for 100 years,” said Mike McCormick, president. of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation. .

The Ground Zero Blues Club in downtown Biloxi also brings in top artists every week. Tickets go on sale for Irma Thomas on August 19 and promoters say it will be another sold-out sale.

The best thing is that the program offers a wide variety of entertainment.
