FREDERIC, Md., January 13, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Perennial classic rock favorite America is hosting their 50th anniversary tour at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland to Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.. America 50th Anniversary is presented by Latshaw Productions Inc.

Founders, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (with former band member, the late Dan Look) met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly rose to the top of the charts with his breakthrough song “A Horse With No Name”. America became a household name around the world and led the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first No. 1 single. Their best-known tracks, which also include “I Need You”, ” Ventura Highway”, “Don’t Cross The River”, “Tin Man”, “Lonely People” and “Sister golden hairwere cornerstones of the Top 40 and FM rock radio of the 1970s.
