The Rialto Theater Center has released its 2022/23 lineup with 12 performances from national and international acts that are sure to offer something for everyone.
The season kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2 with Jarabe Mexicano. The band takes viewers through history with a variety of Mexican folk songs, Tex-Mex, Latin rock and more. The group uses folk string instruments as well as percussion pieces to enhance Jarabe’s dramatic voice, sung in Spanish and English. Tickets for Jarabe Mexicano are $39 per person and $54 per person for VIPs.
Comedian Jeff Allen takes the stage at the historic theater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 24. Allen’s humor centers around marriage and family and brings laughs to viewers of all ages. Allen has made appearances on Comedy Central, VH1, Huckabee, Dry Bar Comedy and other shows. Tickets to see Allen are $32 per person and $45 per person for VIPs.
Moody Blues fans will rejoice when Go Now! The Music of the Moody Blues comes to town at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8. The band was formed by drummer Gordy Marshall, who toured with the band for over 25 years as a session musician. Marshall pairs his drumming skills with 10cc vocalist Mick Wilson to bring audience members one of the best tributes to the iconic classic rock band. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIPs.
Native American and African American singer, songwriter and educator Martha Redbone is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29. Redbone inherited his powerful vocal skills from his father to bring audiences of all ages an experience of American Roots music. Redbone shares her life experiences as an Indigenous and Black woman through songs and storytelling. Tickets are $39 per person or $54 per person for VIPs.
AJ Croce, son of Jim Croce, will pay tribute to his father with Croce Plays Croce at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 4. After more than 25 years of leaving his mark on the music industry, the young Croce began to incorporate some of his father’s works into his repertoire. Croce will perform some of his original pieces as well as his father’s songs and musical arrangements that influenced them both. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIPs.
Illusionist Rob Lake will make an appearance at the theater at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 6 with a mind-blowing show for all ages. Lake has performed to sold-out crowds in arenas, theaters and casinos around the world and was named “The World’s Greatest Illusionist” by NBC for his award-winning illusion show. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIPs.
Grammy-nominated songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman will dazzle audiences at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 5 with his A Very Merry Christmas Tour. The evening will celebrate music, love and family through Christmas favorites and original tunes such as “The Gift”, “Sending You a Little Christmas”, “Angel Eyes” and more. All ages are welcome to attend the concert and tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIPs.
The Hazel Miller Band will take to the Rialto stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 15 to present a variety of traditional religious songs, age-old seasonal favorites and current holiday hits to audience members of all ages. The band put a new spin on familiar holiday music with new styles, genres and influences. Tickets are $39 per person and $54 per person for VIPs.
Start the new year off right by attending Classic Albums Live – Let It Be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20. The band takes classic albums and performs them live for audiences of all ages. This concert will pay tribute to the Beatles and their 12th studio album, “Let It Be”. Tickets are $45 per person and $60 per person for VIPs.
The Petty Nicks Experience returns to the Rialto Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 with tributes to Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks. While Nicks and Petty had some hits together, Nicks never joined the band permanently. The Petty Nicks Experience brings the question of “what if” to reality through an experience like no other. All ages are invited to experience the theatrical concert which will feature hits such as ‘American Girl’, ‘Runnin’ Down a Dream’, ‘Edge of 17’, ‘Landslide’, ‘Go Your Own Way’ and more. others. At 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, the season takes viewers from classic rock to the sounds of doo-wop with The Doo Wop Project. The group is made up of talented Broadway stars from hit shows like ‘Jersey Boys’, ‘Motown: The Musical’ and ‘A Bronx Tale’ to flood the theater with classic sounds of the 40s and 50s. Tickets are $45 per person or $60 per person for VIPs.
The Rialto ends its season with Altan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday March 10. The band hails from Donegal, Ireland, and will bring the region’s rich cultural music to audience members of all ages in Loveland.
Subscription packages are on sale, giving theatergoers the ability to customize their shows at discounted prices. The more shows fans choose, the bigger the discount.
Fans choosing all 12 shows will receive a 25% discount while 11 show choices will receive 20% off and 10 shows will receive an 18% discount. Those choosing nine shows will receive a 16% discount and eight shows will receive a 14% discount.
People can also upgrade their ticket packages to the VIP selection, which includes seats in the first two rows of the theater and concessions or a bar voucher.
