Another month and more groups added to the list! Last year, we started tracking the number of monthly listeners of hard rock and heavy metal artists. Spotify. Where did we get this data? Everything is accessible to the public on the artists’ pages.
Please note that this is not an exact science, rankings should not be taken as facts, as these are only rankings against other artists we have chosen for this study. This means that there could be some artists that maybe weren’t listed and have more listenings. We try to keep the list as specific as possible, so if you know of a missing artist, please mention it in the comments and we’ll add it for next month.
