The Super Bowl halftime show is protected at all costs… with organizers playing rock music outside SoFi Stadium during rehearsals to keep the highly anticipated performance a secret.
Dr.Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Eminem perfected their 12-minute set with the big game just days away… and TMZ Sports learned that anyone within earshot hears none of this, thanks to a pretty clever plan.
We’re told the stadium played music like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bon Jovi over the speakers to conceal the actual tunes that will be played on Sunday…hoping to keep everything a secret.
Sure, there are several residential neighborhoods just outside of SoFi…and if it weren’t for the luring music, chances are some secrets would start leaking.
One downside – we’re told some people living near the stadium aren’t too happy to hear “Livin’ On A Prayer” while putting their kids to bed…as rehearsals continued late into the night.
Fans were hoping for even the smallest bit of information about the show… but it seems harder than ever to get anything ahead of the show.
There’s one thing we know about the performance – MJB teased how epic it is… saying the whole set gave him goosebumps.
Sorry, prop bettors… looks like you’ll have to leave it up to chance.
